Thomas Morvan
I completed my PhD at Aix-Marseille Université under the supervision of Dr. David Robbe and Pr. Christophe Eloy, where I studied the role of the dorsal striatum in the regulation of movement vigor. Using behavioral paradigms inspired by foraging theory alongside computational modeling, my work aimed to understand how the brain weighs the costs and benefits of action. In February 2026, I joined the BCB lab as a postdoctoral researcher. My current work combines behavioral experiments in mice with computational approaches to investigate the neural mechanisms underlying decision-making, with the goal of extending this framework to animal models of neuropsychiatric conditions.
