After a BSc in Biochemistry, I became fascinated by how much is controlled by the brain and how little we know about it. That curiosity led me to Amsterdam for a MSc in Molecular Neuroscience. During the master's and the following three years, I ping-ponged between academic labs and a biotech startup, specializing in brain disorders and behavioral tests. Now I'm a PhD student in the Brain Circuits and Behavior lab, characterising working memory engrams. When I'm not in the lab, you'll find me on a volleyball court, on a roadtrip through the coast, or at music festivals.
