The BCB collaborates in the '18th Science Festival of Barcelona 2025'

As in several years, before a group of people from the Brain Circuits and Behavior Lab, participated in the annual science festival organized by the Ajuntament de Barcelona “18a Festa de la Ciència” on June 1st, 2025. The activity was organized with our soul mate lab, the Computational Neuroscience Group at the CRM. Particpants included Balma Serrano, Kostas Chatzimichail, and Jaime from the BCB and Alexandra Antoniadou from the CRM.
We prepared our Neural Code game and brought our gadgets from Back Yard Brains, which were a huge success. In particular, the Human-to-Human Interface, used to illustrate motor control, and “the Claw,” which introduces neuroprosthetics, were especially popular among both children and adults. As usual, the activities with the gadgets lasted longer than planned because many participants were still eager to try them out.
