Alexis Pérez Bellido
I am a cognitive neuroscientist born in Zaragoza. I studied psychology at the University of Valencia and later completed my PhD at the University of Barcelona. In 2014, I began my first postdoctoral position at Baylor College of Medicine, where I was supervised by Jeffrey M. Yau. In 2016, I joined the predictive brain lab at the Donders Institute, led by Floris de Lange. In 2018, I returned to Spain with a Beatriu de Pinòs (AGAUR) grant and a Jóvenes Investigadores (MINECO) research project. Recently, I started a new position at the Brain Circuits and Behavior lab. My research interests involve understanding how the human brain maintains and integrates various sources of information to anticipate upcoming stimuli and make better decisions.
